Webkinz Purple Monster virtual pet, Ghostly Grand Piano, Haunting Breeze Scarecrow, and Pharaoh Costume can be purchased today during the Halloween Specials at the Webkinz eStore. Haunting Breeze Scarecrow is animated. The Pumpkin Head moves and lights up while the spooky purple scarf blows in the wind. Butterflys or moths fly out of the hay bales that are placed around the freaky scarecrow. The Ghostly Grand Piano plays a spooky tune and a frightening spider drops from her sticky web. Watch the piano keys mysteriously play by themselves. The Purple Monster vitual pet had a fiendish smile, green eyebrows and fluffy tip of tail. He’s certainly a scarey pooch but very friendly. After a cold night of Trick-or-Treating the Purple Monster can curl up on his Fuzzy Creature Couch and dream the night away. His Pet Special Food is Monster Mash Eye Scream. Looks Yummy!
The Pharaoh Costume is fit for a King. The stylish headdress and sandals complete the regal outfit. You’ll be the center of attention wearing this costume at your next Halloween Party.

Dear Webkinz Fans,
In recent weeks Webkinz World has run into a number of technical issues while releasing new features onto the site. The addition of multiple languages to areas like the W-Shop and Employment Office caused some issues, and recently other issues delayed the expected launch of our new My Page features. We understand that issues like these can be frustrating.
We at Ganz are committed to providing a fun and exciting experience for all of our great members. We are working very hard to not only fix these issues, but also put in place new policies and a dedicated team that will prevent such issues from cropping up again.
Our efforts have now fixed the problems with My Page and it is now open to all. In the coming weeks we will be fixing many more issues, including seeing the return of your favorite player vs. player games, like Atomicolicious.
To say thank you for your patience during this period, tonight during our nightly maintenance, we will be awarding all active members a free Vacation Office ticket to the Tropical Island! If you haven’t tried out this new feature in Webkinz World, it’s easy! Just go to the Vacation Office in the Things to Do menu, click on “My Tickets”, then click on the Tropical island ticket, then click “Go on Vacation”. You’ll then have 24 hours to play on the Tropical Island. (Super-secret hint: Keep your ticket until next Wednesday. Something new is coming…)

My Stuff Tab added to My Page! I was able to bring up My Page on my “OffShore” account and this is what I’m getting so far. Three Loader Lounger Chairs with question marks on the seat and six boxes marked Fragile. Wonder if there is a Leg Lamp in one of those boxes? My Stuff page still doesn’t work but there’s progress.
UPDATE:
In order to change the widget click on the edit button in the upper right corner. You’ll then be able to customize each widget to your liking. The top row will allow you to sellect from a List. For example I choose FAVORITE COLLECTION. Then I sellected from the drop down menu items that I like to collect. I must say this is a little tricky. You just have to play around with it. If you want to delete anything you have that option too. You can choose rooms you’d like to display with an icon that will also tell more about that room. The Pink Tree is in the outdoor yard. To view that room just click on that widget.
This is time consuming but will be lots of fun for your friends to view your new rooms if you find it difficult to invite them over.

With your very first purchase you can start to put together and decorate your Tree. You’ll receive 3 virtual ornaments with each code unlocked. One virtual ornament will be of the Christmas Ornament you purchased. The other two will be either garland or tree topper or base for your Christmas Tree. You’re tree will hold 5 virtual ornaments at one time and can be swopped out at anytime, it’s your choice! This Webkinz Christmas will be so much fun. Tinkerpup comes to Webkinz eStore today. I tried to adopt the Webkinz Wednesday on-line pet before my BFF Deborah today but she beat me to it! Here’s a picture of the metal robot pup with his new Clockwork Fridge. Bones N’ Bolts Sandwich is the Pet Specific Food shown in the Clockwork Fridge.

Webkinz World was giving me fits yesterday. I couldn’t even get to the website to login! But this morning I had no trouble. It’s like the Good Ole’ Days in Webkinz World! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I got right in! Not much waiting time, not much waiting for the W to turn to a green screen. My Adobe Flash Player 9 script still gives me problems on this slower computer but I’m so used to that message by now it doesn’t bother me. I have a faster computer at the house with Adobe 9 and there are no problems there. So anyway, we just might we back in business to bring you updates and exciting news from Webkinz World. Now I’m afraid to Log Out!
